Carrie and I have been fans of Hello Dave since the early-mid 90s. We would love to hear from some of you out there about your experiences with the band, the good or the bad (though i doubt there are any bad experiences!). Personally, I have enjoyed seeing Mike and the boys playing for all these years for so many new fans. It seems that everytime I go to a show, which isn't as often as it used to be, they are playing to a new group of faces. However, their music, their energy and their spirit remain the same. It's a great thing to see!
Speaking of seeing the band, they are playing tonight at Walter Payton's Roundhouse, in Aurora, IL. I hope to see some of you there tonight, in fact, I know I will. Have a great time, and I look forward to your post.

The music we are listening to.....
Here is some music Carrie and I are listening to. We think you will like it, if you aren't already listening. the bands appear in no particular order (most of the time anyway)....so here it goes. And btw, if you need to borrow and listen for yourself, just ask! Ok, here it goes.......
Most of you are aware of the old standbys like U2 or Coldplay, but check out these artisits too.......the Fray, the Wreckers, Snow Patrol, the Killers (or as i like to say - the killas!), the Feeling (they're not here yet, but you'll like them when they arrive!), Radiohead (i finally bought a cd of theirs, inspired by this least season of Rock Star - Supernova), Death Cab for Cutie, Robin Thicke, Keane, Arcade Fire, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand and so on......this list is practically never ending. It is especially so, if you all add some names of artists you are listening to that have not already been mentioned!

We're back!
Hello everyone, we're back on the blog! Carrie and I have taken such a long break, we don't remember how to access our last blog site, or it has just been taken away from lack of use. In any case, we're on again and hope to post enough topics of interest so we can all chat a bit more often about one of the things we love...music!
